With your Lighthouse for MAX you can combine printing and cutting shapes. Click on your object and use a combination of Printable and Cuttable options.
You can:

Leave the Cuttable option disabled and labels will print like with ordinary thermal printers.

Enable the Cuttable option for your label objects and leave the Printable option enabled. Your printer will print the objects and cut them out of your labels.

Enable the Cuttable option for your label objects and disable the Printable option. You printer will just cut the objects out of your labels.
You can enable the Cuttable option with:

Text object. You can print a standard text object and also enable the option Text on ellipse.

Text box object
-
Rectangle object
-
Line object
-
Ellipse object
Note
If the thickness of rectangle or ellipse object is 1mm or less, printer cuts only outline of the rectangle or ellipse. If the thickness is bigger that 1mm, printer cuts also the inline of the rectangle or ellipse.
Cutting Barcodes and Pictures
You can also cut metafile graphics (.wmf or .emf files).
If you want to cut a Barcode or Picture object, use the following procedure:
Solution 1
Put one of the Cut Shapes around your picture or barcode:

Drag and drop the Picture object on your label design.

The file explorer window opens. Click Clipart Gallery.

The Clipart Gallery window opens. Navigate to the CMP > Cut Shapes and select the desired shape, then click OK.

The Cut Shape object appears on your label design. You can move or resize the Cut Shape object to fit your picture or barcode.
Your printer will cut the outer area of the Cut Shape object.
Solution 2
Put a Cut shape object around a barcode or picture object.
Warning
If you put a Cut shape object around your barcode, make sure that rectangle is outside the barcode's quiet zone.
Your printer will cut the outer area of the Cut shape object.
